Guided outings to some of the best birding spots in south-central Idaho, free, friendly, and open to anyone who wants to come along.

When the weather warms up or a good opportunity presents itself, we head out into the field. Prairie Falcon Audubon organizes about five bird-watching excursions a year, led by experienced birders who know the local hotspots and the birds that show up there.

Most trips involve carpooling from a meet-up point to one of the many Magic Valley birding hotspots, canyon rims, reservoirs, riparian corridors, and back roads that hold something worth stopping for. Pace is relaxed, questions are welcome, and beginners are just as much a part of the group as long-time birders.

Bird walks are free and open to the public.
