Who We Are
INTRODUCTION
Birders, Bound by Place.
Prairie Falcon Audubon, Inc. (PFA) is dedicated to advocating for birders,
the birds we love to watch, and the environment we share.
Prairie Falcon Audubon has been Southcentral Idaho’s home for bird lovers since 1981. As the Twin Falls-based chapter of the National Audubon Society, we bring together people who share a curiosity about the birds of the Magic Valley, from the prairie falcons hunting our canyon rims to the Cassia Crossbills found nowhere else on Earth.
We’re a small, volunteer-powered nonprofit with a straightforward purpose: help people notice birds, learn about them, and protect the places they need. We do that through free monthly programs, guided field trips, community science projects, and hands-on conservation work with partners across the region.
Everything we host is free and open to the public. Whether you’ve kept a life list for decades or you’re just starting to wonder what’s at your feeder, there’s a seat for you at the table and a spot for you in the field.
