WHAT WE DO

Monthly Programs

About nine times a year, Prairie Falcon Audubon hosts a guest presenter for an evening program at the College of Southern Idaho. The topics shift with the seasons and the speakers, but the format stays the same: an hour or so of good information, a chance to ask questions, and a room full of people who care about birds.

Past programs have covered the Greater Sage-Grouse, the Cassia Crossbill, bird biology and ecology, birding skills, nest box construction, bird-monitoring techniques, and local conservation issues. Whether you’ve been birding for decades or you’re just starting to notice what’s outside your window, there’s usually something here worth showing up for.

Programs take a break over the summer and resume in the fall.
